It's actually kind of a long story but...I had borrowed a friends dress to wear. It was strapless and it buttoned in the front. Kinda like the pic below but with buttons. I had to pull it together to get it buttoned. It had these really small pearl buttons that weren't easy to button. I had been out in the sun that day and had some really good tan lines from my bikini. Oh, did I mention that I was 21 when this happened and I decided not to wear a bra with this dress?
( probably the only time EVER) Anyway I had a hot date (future hubby) coming over for dinner. I went to the grocery store to buy things for dinner, it was a saturday afternoon and really busy, every lane had a bagger and there were lines of people everywhere. I bent down to empty my cart and part of my dress caught on the cart.....my whole dress from the waist up sprang open! Yes, I flashed every bag boy there. The whole scene plays like slow motion in my mind. Still. A kind older lady that was behind me said...honey, I'll stand here while you get yourself together. God bless her. I just wanted to run away but I stood there and buttoned those dang pearl buttons and paid for my groceries and left. I did not shop at that grocery store again for 10 years! No kidding. I was mortified. Of course after 20 years I can laugh about tit. ( leaving the typo I just made LOLOLOL)
