It's not an olive branch. He's claiming to be on our side, yet I think some of his ideas and views are disastrous.

No, indeed it is not an olive branch. The disaster you speak of is in your belief of "sides". You refuse to move outside a narrow minded view of political power and how that power controls people through narrative. You believe that you can manipulate power with narrative. You are not honest, wise or good for anyone but your self importance. Did you not admit this yourself?

An olive branch would be a compromise to your dishonest nature. Yet I offer you friendship in common goals. I offer you an opportunity to be honest about who you are and a more honest purpose. I was wrong. You have but one purpose and it is the same as Donald Trump. You both desire division. You both desire your self importance. My eyes are wide open and I see you. Your eyes and your mind are closed and there is little hope that will change. I prefer friends but who needs friends who admit to a purpose of no conscience. Your words...

Since you brought it up about three times in a row, I think your idea that Joe Biden should call the alleged biting of Jacob Blake is wrong. I don’t think a presidential candidate should be involved in one random alledged crime, no matter how heinous. I think a presidential candidate should be involved in confronting systemic police brutality.

I did not ask you if you think calling the victim was right or wrong. I asked you if you believe that Jacob Blake should be given a pass for his criminal activity. I ask you if you believe that law enforcement be de-funded. I ask you to enlighten us how you would go about improving systemic racism that we both agree on. You deflected it all with calling me a troll. Yet you are the one hiding your name. It is dishonest behavior.

Leader of himself is not an honest person. He outright admits this. His purpose is to keep people like you divided from people like me. He has succeeded...

My nature is to never give up hope on people. I think it is because of my grandmother. Her generation of women had to be tough as nails just to survive in a man's world of power and abuse. I believe Biden chose such a woman to be VP. My sincere and honest hope is that Biden/Harris win and together improve the many problems of race and gender.

Let me make a speech about "hiding your name": When you first discovered Sowal, it was a message board site that had an abundance of people chatting using fictitious user names and sometimes goofy avatars. Some people use their own name, or "a name", but I would venture to guess, probably 85% of the users of this site use fictitious user names. When you signed up to chat on this site, you knew that full well. But, now, and many, many times in the past, you have brought up this subject that it somehow offends you, or that it doesn't seem like fair play, but, guess what, this is what you agreed to when you signed up on this site. So, at the risk of offending you even more, please stop sounding like a victim.

We can all be thankful you are not an advisor to Biden.

If Biden's advisors are telling him that racism is the only issue that will get him elected then it would be the same thing as Trump's advisor's telling him that law and order is the only issue that will get him elected. That would be one issue canceling out the other! Not smart. Not wise. Not honest.

I don't enjoy attacking people, and whether a person uses a real name or not has no bearing on my responses. If I think someone's ideas are wrong-headed, I will say so, and, I am sorry to say, I, sometimes, get snarky about it. It is truly agonizing to feel the destruction of this nation that has been happening for the last 4 years. If you want to be thin-skinned, maybe you should stay off these political threads.
