Sounds like the gulf is a lot safer than the lakes. No gators, serpents, or flying sturgeons...

I had the pleasure of meeting a handful of SoWallers in person before I came on here--jdard, SJ, Toots and Kurt (did I miss anyone?) and then I already knew poor Hop. (If you don't know what he looks like, he's short, fat, balding, has terrible teeth, beady little eyes, and is either perpetually pasty-white or sunburned. Tragic. I don't know how his good-looking wife and kid stand it.)

As for the rest of you, I have to go with the Avatar comment. Mango is a muppet behind an ironing board, and DD is forever going to pick up groceries in her minivan. Seacrestkristi--If you're not Gilda Radner when I meet you, I'm going to be awfully sad.

Although, for some reason I thought Kitty would be taller than me for some bizarre reason. That Sunday at the Seabar will always be one of my favorite SoWal memories.

Miss Kitty broke the ice, though, in her inimitable way, when she looked at me and blurted "You have cleavage!" She'll probably deny it but I swear she said it. (I wanted to buy stock in VS after she said that because at least for that evening, it was true. ) I'm thinking that maybe the Kitty had me pegged for a different body type in her mind's eye, huh?
