last week, while we were cruising the lake in Defuniak Springs admiring all the gorgeous lights and houses, I saw the leg lamp prominently displayed in a big picture window of a house across from the lake. big laughs coming from our car!

Do you know when the lights at Defuniak are over? My parents don't think they are leaving now until Friday, which means getting here Saturday or Sunday. They really want to see the lights.

Yes, they have a large picture window facing the road in the living room.
They said next year, forget the lighted deer etc. Just the lamp comes out!:funn:

That is the best! They had Hallmark ornaments with the crate and the leg lamo inside and it had that quote when you pressed the button. They sold out in a second. Couldn't get my hands on one.

Thanks Pea, I think it is pretty close to the original too. Kinda all fell into place luckily.
We thought we should make outdoor path lighting with those for the holiday.

I think the best part was my 99 yr. old grandfather was sitting in the livingroom watching the movie, and he saw all the commotion outside, and he got up and looked out the window and started laughing hysterically. I never saw him laugh so hard. That made it even all the more worth it.
