Thanks for showing us all the pics, Ocean Lover!! We had an absolutely wonderful hill over at Butler University. It was double precious to us because you know Indianapolis is as flat as a pancake. ;-) Good sledding hills are few and far between. But then Butler flattened the hill to make way for new upperclassmen dorms and all our funn sledding is only a distant memory.

About Leatherlips--in Boston, on the Charles River where they hold the outdoor concerts in the Half Shell, there's a very similar statue of the late, great conductor Arthur Fiedler, he of the Boston Pops.

We still have a few hills left around here. Bummer about your Butler hill.
I think the statue is really cool..I thought it was an original. Like our field of corn in Dublin.
