When I'm with my family, my brother (respectable grown-up father-of-four engineer that he is) is prone to look over at me during a lull in the conversation, straight-faced, and say, "Mahna mahna..."
I don't have to tell you the silliness that ensues, do I?
While we sing, my parents give one another looks that clearly read, "How did we raise such idiots?" and my sister-in-law and the kids try to find seats with a normal family at another table.

Well if your family isn't normal, then neither is mine cause we have the CD with Mahna Mahna in all our cars and play it constantly, and we all have our parts to sing.

i had the lyrics down already! i am just teaching them to everyone else!
the year was 1979 i was about 15 and christmas day we had done all the eating and presents, my sister and i drug my father to "the muppet movie" that afternoon......he could have killed us! the opening part where kermit was on the bicycle with his big ole' long green legs and we were bent over laughing! i have always loved the muppets.
i must buy this for my neice!

I showed spidey the mahna mahna one at the start of this thread. we've been singing it for two days. he says "anama nama". and I do the "do do do do do".
