don't knock it til you've tried it - i had never even drank a mountain dew and i am not a bourbon drinker - someone mixed it - i tried it - surprisingly it was good - i think one should drink anything one wants - doesn't mean you have to

In Kentucky, you would have to disguise the Mt. Dew or be laughed out of the room!

And I don't even drink bourbon- I have just been raised around it!

Not a real bourbon drinker, wasn't raised around it and I'm not in Kentucky. Looks like I'm safe - :floor:

Just joking around with you - forgive me if I offended any real Bourbon drinkers out there - especially you SJ (but it was pretty good - WT101 has a very different mellowing effect - and the MD made it possible for a light weight like me to drink it).

Mix with water. Really. Drink Mt. Dew the next day when you have a Class 4 hangover.

Sorry Athena - Didn't mean to hijack your thread but now you are not the only one that got an etiquette lesson (albeit a different one) :funn:

You can't start a thread on SoWal and not expect it to get hijacked, tangentized, etc. It wouldn't be normal.
