It's been a long time - that's for sure.

Oh gosh - just 3 more hours. I'll have to start getting ready soon. What on earth am I going to do with my hair in all this rain?

Linda, a while back Kathydwells recommended Dove's Anti-Frizz and I'll tell you, it really works. Any drugstore has it. I plastered my hair with it today because I had to run errands all over town and it's been rainy and humid. I've just come in, and miracle of miracles, I don't look like something the cat dragged. In. :razz:

I don't have that, but I do have something similar that I just picked up the other day - Samy Smooth Reaction Smoothing Creme. Thanks for the idea!

We've actually met already - at a business Christmas soiree last week. He's a friend of a guy I worked with 12 years ago and I was going to leave the party early 'til he convinced me to stay a little longer. So he's seen me all dressed up and decked out - just hoping he likes the more casual me as well! And that the conversation flows as well on a date as it did our first meeting and on the phone this week. I'm nervous as hell! By the way, his name is Roger. He's 47, divorced for 6 years, has 3 kids (2 daughters, 18 and 14, and a son, 8 - same age as my son.) He's been meeting most of his recent dates on Eharmony.com - I think we were both kind of taken aback to actually meet someone the "old-fashioned" way.

If everything goes well, I'm sure to post the second I get home (and I have an 11PM curfew since the babysitter doesn't want to be up too late!) If things don't go well, I have numerous Sowallers on my speed dial and I'll be certain to make calls from the bathroom til I reach someone willing to call me back with an "emergency!"
