...that baby standing on your cake is killing me!!!
when i was little i called it the "baby cake" not a "king cake". supposed to mean if you get the baby you have to buy the next one. tradition started in france...long time ago....in louisianna a loooong time ago the plantation owner would throw a big ball and put real gems in it (yeah, mango that is probably why i like this cake so much
) rubies, sapphires....and who ever found it in thier piece had to throw the next big party and buy the next cake.:clap_1: sounds like my kind of party!:clap_1:

I was tired when I posted. What I meant was that people used to throw "bon voyage" parties before people left for a trip out of the country. So, I figured it would be nice for people to get together to watch Cork's and Allifunn's slides and hear stories and celebrate their trip together but since it's not a "bon voyage" party it would be a "back from their 'bon voyage'". And I'm looking for excuses to come to SoWal though I really can't just jump on a plane and go... nice fantasy, though.
Is that what was confusing?
Anyway, no matter -- our gulls are home.

Hi all!!! thanks for the welcome home! It feels good to back...but WOW what a trip!!!!:clap_1: There is so much to tell! I hope everyone is doing well and had a grayt New Year! Many stories to come...Cork & I decided to do daily posts about our trip...like a day-by-day blow, instead of writing one long trip report!
I must go to bed now, my body is saying it is 5:00 in the morning...so I have been up all NIGHT....

Cork had much to do today, so we will post day by day (blow by blow....:funn: ) as soon as we can. (we have to get our stories straight....;-)
