Typical politricks

[Smiling JOe]

Typical politricks. I am not a fan of politicians. Today, I listened to John Kerry talk about how he would "put politics before the troops." -- His words. He says that adding more troops is wrong. Right or wrong, I don't know. The thing that gets me is that when he was running for the office of the President, he was saying that Bush was doing it wrong. Kerry said that he would send in more troops to get the job done, so that the US soldiers could go home.

It gets a little old watching politicians throw out a poll on popularity while straddling a fence, leaning from side to side, depending on which way the wind blows.

Just an observation.

I am so disgusted with politicians and politics in general. I used to be very politically active but would now call myself apathetic - and I'm ashamed to do so.

Very Well Said S.J.

Bottom line is ? will sending 20K more of our men/women over there solve the call for democracy ?.....???????

I for one am tired of seeing our soldiers casualty count climb each and every day.......

You and me, both, Ms. Kitty. I used to care. I want to care. But I just can't anymore.

I won't completely give up and neither will you. I think we need a rest. And some good answers to some problems without a Republican or Democrat label on them.

We can dream, can't we?

It seems that is ALL we can do.

Actually, a good start would be for people to actually peel themselves away from the TV set and cast a ballot once in awhile.
