Like as the Mazda commercial. After two weeks of looking and much internet eye-strain, we finally found the car to replace the Dearly Departed Durango!! Last night we drove to the south side of Chicago to get ourselves this wonderful Mazda Tribute.
As you know, we had a hefty list of requirements--6 cyl, 3.0 l, 4x4, tow package, crossbar luggage rack, low mileage, leather heated seats (*okay, that came a little later but quickly moved from "wish list" to "requirement ;-) ), yadda yadda yadda. And we wanted all this for a very teeny pricetag!!!
Well, all good things happen to they who wait. This car fell into our laps! It only goes to show that if you refuse to compromise about what you need, you get what you need. This Tribute will get us through the lean college years in adequate style and who knows, if we load it up real heavy, it might even get us through the sand at Grayton. Miracles can happen.

Eventually our luck will run out and we will have to buy something.
