Got Pollen?

New posts
We have the "European Collar Doves" building a nest in our palm tree's. It is just out side my office window. They are in love....Just like myself and my wife.

In Pittsburgh the cherry blossoms are already blooming and some tulips are starting to come out. They are probably covered with snow now!!!

Yeb, my nose is a libble stubbed up too. Ach-oo.

I can see the Pine Tree pollen, but I think the plants are fooled. My guess is that winter is still ahead. The good news is that only another 5 weeks until March!!!:clap_1:

Yes I was sneezing and my car was covered with the pollen, and it was quite gloomy all week, but not one to sour over lemons, I decided to make sausages instead of lemonade.

I have been sick as a dog all week, from what I call the Pine Pollen Crud. I know it is not contagious, just allergies, but a pain in the asp nonetheless. I never get sick and to be tripped up like this at the cusp of JANUARY/FEBRUARY jest ain't right.

Before I've tried everthing in the market, things would work eventually. This time I stopped at our 'local' (for out in the woods) grocer and picked up the store brand of Dayquil.

Its the first time anything has worked nearly immediatly. I hope to knock it out this weekend.

we'll see,

hey dka: go to For the Health of It and ask them for their allergy remedies. also, you may want to ask your doctor for a scrip.

the pine pollen has covered my back porch for the last month - it's crazy.

Thanks, but I'm not going to drive 65 miles to go to For the Health of It, though I love it and them enough to do so. The Rainbow store here in Greenhead, as I mentioned above had a "store brand" of Dayquil that worked wonders. It worked so well, that I went back today and bought two more bottles to keep in case this ever happens again. Like a miracle drug, this little blue bottle knocked it out instantly. Took it twice a day for three days and voila'; I can breathe again. Of course I'm sure all the rain we just had helped. The store brand is called QC, Quality Control.

Meanwhile, hope everyone gets to feelin' better.

Happy Superbowl Sunday!

Maybe I should try it.(The Dayquil.)
Normally I hate that kind of stuff.
I am much, much better than when I first posted though.
I am convinced that it was pollen rather than a cold--I never had that fatiguey feeling, just this horrible coated feeling in my throat and a deep cough that would not quit.
My stomach muscles are in good shape these days, though at one point I thought I was gonna bust a rib. ;-)
