We are now getting more winter weather as I speak. Freezing rain, sleet and some snow mixed in. Already covering bridges and overpasses, power lines, etc. Going to be a fun drive to work this morning as I am sure the salt and sand trucks were not out for this one. Not really expected I don't think.

Sorry to hear that.

I'm heading up there sometime in the next 4 or 5 days and hoping the mess doesn't hit again while we're driving.

It's not good right now. They are saying ice everywhere. Alot of ice on flyovers and bridges and overpasses already. I have two I have to go up and down on my way to work. One is huge. They just did say they have sprayed down some overpasses pretty well so maybe they caught the ones I go down. I hope so. They are showing rain and a little warmer for Wednesday and highs in the upper 30's and sunny for Thursday so far. But that can change here quickly. It is really coming down out there now.

Freezing rain is not funn winter weather. I would stay put till the salt trucks to their thing.

hope you got to work safely lady. the roads are finally starting to clear off here, it is still cold tho - 6 out now. i was reading about some towns in upstate new york who received 6 feet, yes feet, of snow and are expecting 2 more feet before all is said and done

I got here. Some overpasses were blocked off by police cars. About two hours before I left there was a 8 car pileup down the highway I take to work by the interstate. Glad it was gone when I went by there. One lane on the highway I went down which is a long hill was covered with ice. The trucks had been out though. I stayed in the left lane out of that.

I just spoke to a client there and he finally made it into work. Sounds like a slippery ride though and lots of waiting in traffic according to him.
