not really. i too take offense at mr. mclean offering his level of christianity as being the benchmark of all that's good. being catholic is not good enough? my relationship with my maker is subpar to mr. mclean's? not so. the story is quite touching. the religious fervor behind it, is chilling.

I'm with you on this one JohnR.

It is interesting (and disturbing) how Christian marketing is becoming so popular...I always wonder what somebody advertising as a "Christian business owner" would do if he/she has the opportunity to make a pile of money- but the pile of money was coming from a "non-Christian", say a Muslim, or Jew? What a freaking dilemma!!

Oops- too heathen for my own good today. Need to get back to practicing Ricky Bobby's dinner table prayer. ;-)

Well normally I don't jump under the covers with just anyone but in your case- let's go hot stuff........

Who wants to play Jump Under the Covers with 30-gAy? BE NOT AFRAID.

(.........and that folks is how we send a thread on a tangent!)

That's tangent-"sizing" now.
Now I know why McCain beat me to the punch on Letterman where he announced his formal run for Presidency, so get out of the covers and get my announcement ready for The View or something.
Just make sure Rosie isn't grumpy.

You're right. I'd say we send Pancake Bunny, but she might perceive the pancake as a flip over like Trumps, and give us he!!, so we'll try the The Today Show with Matt Lauer, and hopefully he won't remember I told him he had a skinny butt 17 years ago when he was on UPN.

I just think christians give christians a bad name, especially when they think everyone around them is either christian or they should be. I believe it to be a personal thing to me (a catholic) and I wholly embrace many others and their own beliefs and religions. there is much to learn from others. this board is diverse in many ways, but I suspect most are christian in faith - but it does not matter in the least. I think most of us prefer to have funn on this board, via D/S&C, and when we become closer friends (face to face), then we share much more in the way of spiritual beliefs, etc.

I just can't stand these kinds of inspiriational messages because there are so many on email that it seems to cheapen the message, especially when sent to a billion people (instead of to a few chosen) and then require that you forward them to 10 people or bad Sheeit will happen to you. Do I care one bit about this story? No. It's the same one that people send every day.

and then when its posted in the lounge of all effing places, it's just bad manners, IMO. come on. get a clue.
