Speaking of signs at bars, there is a Tex-Mex restaurant and bar here in town that has a sign on the door:

IF YOUR SHOES ARE MUDDY, PLEASE USE THE HOSE AROUND THE CORNER TO CLEAN YOUR SHOES. THANKS, THE MANAGEMENT.

Sure enough, there is a hose and a boot scraper on the side of the building. I couldn't believe it!
