money back!!! I took an Ambien last night and not only did I not sleep drive or sleep eat, I only slept 3 hours*!!!! Pooey.

So, what have you bought recently that you would like to get a refund?

*...of course hearing Mr. Kitty's crackberry alarm go off from the kitchen didn't help. :bang: He just returned from Cannes and has been living in a different time and wealth zone.

Ask for the Ambien CR - it's supposed to help you fall asleep AND stay asleep. Obviously I don't take it myself (just recently weaned myself off the regular Ambien. Now I'm back into my old bad stay up late habits. But I think I'm about to crash.)

If you want to continue the Rx route, why not try Rozerem? I am curious to hear how well this product works...you could be a lab kitty. Or, Mr Kitty could learn hypnosis and when you start prowling in the wee hours he could snap his fingers and put you under:lol:

 ...hardy har har Skunkamarinkadinkadink. Mr. K didn't budge...he just got home from a 12 hour trip home from Cannes, but hmmm, I slept fine while he was gone. I'll ask about that new drug.

lbh...I have tried the CR and had similiar results. :bang:

Audie, if you got the neck pillow, they say you need to give it a couple of weeks they say to re-align your spine. Maybe you could exchange the one you have for a different kind? They have so many now.
I have a generic regular tempur knock off and the original neck pillow from Tempur. I don;t use the neck one anymore, but my nephew loves it, but I do use the full pillow. I hear you either love them or hate them.

Miss Kitty and others. I have tried this and it works. It's called Nite-Rest, and it's an herbal blend of Calcium Carbonate, Valerian Root and bunch of other herbs. You need to take it about an hour before bed. I haven't tried this brand, my doctor makes his own blends in house, but this one is the closest to what he makes. I take it every now and then and it puts me right out. Can't hurt to try it with sleep aids since it's all natural. :idontno:

mango, i got the regular pillow - can't imagine how bad my head would hurt with the neck pillow  i am going back to my squishy pillows, i used them yesterday and slept real good.

hey kitty - you ever tried sleeping with ear plugs in ? i get the squishy kind that roll up and expand in your ear - they really help too, to block out all the noises that may be waking you up. i even use them on vaca now.

I feel your pain, Miss Kitty. Sleeping all night without at least one extended period of tossing and turning is a rarity for me. I despise lying awake in bed and trying to stay still to avoid waking up Mr. BR. Sometimes I just go downstairs and get online. I take Temazepam which helps some. Although having a few drinks helps me fall asleep faster, it makes me more likely to wake up in the middle of the night, a phenomenon that is not unique to me.

Good luck! If you find a solution, let me know.

Sorry about your sleep troubles. Interesting note about sleeping well while he is gone. My husband, who travels a lot, cannot sleep when he is home. By midnight he is wondering in the house. Most of the time, I do not realize he has left until the next AM.

I have heard exercise helps, but I avoid that, so maybe someone who exercises could chime in.
