Not going to happen I am afraid. Sorry, but they won't be able to hang with Georgetown. They have too big of players with alot of muscle inside. I wish they would go farther. But I just don't think they can handle Georgetown.

Vandy didn't have a prayer in the last game either. I think anything can happen at this point.

That's your opinion. They were ahead by 3 very late in the game. They may have started off slow in the second half allowing Ohio State to have that 12-2 run but they did manage to regroup some and regain the lead and make Ohio State have to work for it. A 20 pt. lead isn't enough nowadays with the 3 point shot. Did Vandy bother scheduling a game against Ohio State, and Texas, and Oklahoma State and Memphis, or teams of that caliber? Probably not. All very good teams. From what I just viewed of Vandy's season schedule, you guys didn't schedule any competition nonconference wise other than Georgetown and Wake Forest early in the season. I'm sure Vandy had some games they were way ahead in and lost. But it will never be disclosed though. :roll:

Yes, because they are in the SEC. But Beach Runner, I don't think my SoWal friendship matters on here to many. I try to get along with most, but right now I have very low tolerance for much of anything. There are certain ones on here who I feel despise me. And they know who they are. But, that doesn't matter to me. And they constantly like taking cheap shots at me and my choice of team that I follow. Too bad. I was born and raised in Knoxville, have been a Vol fan since I was 10 years old. And that won't change. If they choose not to accept me on here, so be it. That's their problem.

BR- I have a friend here in Nashville that's the biggest Gator fan. She MAKES me cheer for Fla. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do concerning sports even though Florida is a funn team to watch.

I'm going to meet her tonight after work to watch the game. Happy hour woot woot!

LadyD my personal dislike of Tennessee has absolutely nothing to do with you. You I like. The Vols, not so much.

I am so mad at UT! Here I was rooting hard for the Vols since I picked them to beat our newest archrival and they bailed on me. I would have been leading the pool and Ohio State would be gone.

I tried LadyD. Tried hard last night. Can't like those Vols.

I don't expect you to root for the Gators btw...
