power outage

just informed by gulf power that it was construction "dangerously near" the transformer behind publix that cause one of their big tractor things (ok..i know nothing about those machines! to hit a major wire this morning that cause the power outage from okaloosa island to santa rosa beach.

Is the power back on? If not, I need to get my rental management company to stop by the house and clean up the water from the melted ice from the icemaker.

The longest eight minutes of my life- contemplating how to clean the house, do the laundry, make coffee, and SoWal WITHOUT ELECTRICITY!!!!

And during those eight minutes, my office's server to DeFuniak died and both 393/98 and 331/98 became clusterf___s. As, I'm sure, the other intersections did as well.

Happily, we are all better now!
