I didn't like Sanjaya's performance tonight but Tony Bennett liked him. That's good enough for me!
I think Melinda was good tonight. I wish Gina would remove the tongue ring when she is singing a crooner! I liked her voice tonight.

I thought they all did better tonight than last week. Even the ones I don't care for ;-) . I'm with you Sm about the tongue ring though...it's distracting.

I missed it!! I laid down on the couch at 7 listening to the rain and woke up 9 when it was off. Audie would be so proud of me. I swear I blinked just a bit too long and I was gone. Of course my nap kept me from sleeping when I went to bed.

I thought everyone did well considering. Sanjaya is now an entertainer for me and that is it, kinda like Wierd Al. :shock: I thought Gina did do well and I liked the tounge ring, gave her an edge. JMHO. ;-) I dont know what the deal is with Phil, he can sing but I just dont care for him. I dont know why,

:rofl: He did! He did! AND he sounded like.....(Ok, will be nice and not say what I am thinking). Tony Bennett only told him he liked him because he didn't want to hurt his feelings I am sure. Surely to goodness he heard what he sounded like when he sang. I know there is going to be a market for this kid. He going to make tons of money doing something, but it won't be for his singing I am sure. Phil was not good at all last night IMHO. I am like IBD, there is something about him that bother's me. My girl Melinda did great! I think she will win. Did you hear who Ryan picked to win it all? Jordyn Sparks....we shall see!!!!!

Yes, and I feel the same about Lakisha. Something about her just doesn't connect. She may just get Mandisa-ed out fairly early, but hoo boy does she has some pipes.
I'd love to see a Jordin-Melinda finale. They sure look like they are having fun!
