You too SJ! I found a $20 bill in a parking lot when I was a kid on Fri 13th so I've always considered it lucky!
This made me sad last night though. Sam said a boy at school lost his dad the last Friday the 13th we had in October. he was really hoping nothing bad would happen today.
I said a prayer for him today, can you imagine how he would be feeling?

I said a prayer for him today, can you imagine how he would be feeling?I consider 13 to be a number because the Chinese think it's a lucky number and there are billions more Chinese than anyone else in this world, so safety in numbers, huh?
As for Friday the 13th, well, my first date with Merman was on a July Friday the 13th and it looks like it's turned out pretty well. ;-)

I like your thinking. Mr OL's birthday is July 13 and his 40th birthday fell on a Friday. He's made it past a few since then so I guess it's not a bad thing.
Anyone have Triskaidekaphobia?

My first date with Mr. Lucky was on a Friday the 13th, too! He proposed a year later on the 13th. Hence, "lucky13!"

No kiddin! I tried to sound it out and then guessed the meaning...I was right!! Wikipedia rocks! I am so hungry right now, I could eat about 13 bagels!! :shock:
