Heard this this morning, how sad. I have not found photos yet. One woman on wwl said that her daughter had 2 jobs to pay from all the things associated with prom and them turned away. went home changed and still could not get in. I mean how revealing can it get??? I am sure there are 2 sides to the story but......

Dozens of girls booted from prom

Associated Press Reporting
MARRERO, La. (AP) Friday night's prom at a Marrero high school didn't turn out as planned for dozens of girls.
They were turned away from the event by a teacher who thought their dresses were too revealing.
Families of the girls said the teacher cited alleged violations of the Jefferson Parish schools dress code most of them related to excessive display of cleavage.
Some girls said their dresses had previously been approved by Higgins High School but they were denied admission Friday night.
The Jefferson Parish school district is backing the teacher, saying she did nothing wrong and was simply enforcing a dress code that has been in effect for years. The district says some of the girls were admitted after they left and altered their dresses.

I wonder who gets to measure the area of cleavage showing. Maybe the Geometry teacher? :idontno:

I'm guessing that it's not the High School Women's PE teacher.

From a few years back, I recall two guys filing a lawsuit agains their school for not being allowed to enter their prom. Neither had a date, so one decided to wear a dress and go as the other guy's date. They were not allowed in. They said that the invitations required the guests to wear, "formal dress," and they did. Not sure how that one turned out.

I don't think the girls, who were not allowed in, should get their thongs so tightly up their cracks. Name me one person who has great stories about their prom. :idontno:

I had a blast! Of course, this was back in 1972. And I was the type who would have rather died than wear something too revealing.
Younger son will be going to prom this Saturday. His date is wearing a nice (I assume, not too revealing) coral dress and he'll have, along with his tux, a coral tie to match.
Last year my son's buddy was not allowed in because he was wearing board shorts under his tux. He went back and put the correct pants on and was allowed in.

Right. It's after the prom one needs to worry about the thong.

no pics, but here is a similar story to the one I mentioned.

"I thought it would be more appropriate for there to be one person dressed like a girl and a person dressed like a guy, than for there to be two guys to go," said Lofy, a member of the school's track, ski, powerlifting and soccer teams.

Also, he thought people would find it funny to see a 6-foot, 185-pound male in a black, stretchy, spaghetti-strap dress."

By the way, those dresses show less cleavage than when they take off the dresses later in the evening at the parties.

Although this photo doesn't show off the ladies cleavage too much, I think there may be some cleavage showing when they stand up.
