Or shall I call it DSF? (Dreaded Sowal Fever, a variation of DIF, Dreaded Island Fever....) After getting home late Monday and working dilligently all week to catch up at the office, I am finally getting a minute to myself and realize how much I miss being there. I'm feeling a little melancholy . It was so cool seeing so many Sowallers (some old friends and now some new ones) at the soiree (er, I mean hoedown.) Hopefully I'm not the only one stuck at home for a quiet Friday night....otherwise there's going to be some serious drunk dialing later!!!!!

we just got all loaded up and ready to head out in the a.m. i have my internal batteries recharged, am ready to get back home to my routines and my bed.... but will be looking forward to october too.

Sorry I missed y'all last night. Crammed seven days work into four, came home, all the grandkids came over. Watched Tivo'd stuff. Ate Taco Bueno. Off to the grocery store this morning...making birthday cake later. Havannah turned 3 on my birthday, so we're celebrating today. Plus, I'm STILL trying to get that blue icing off my white pants!!!

I had on a white skirt...all I got on it was a bit of cocktail sauce...that came out thank goodness! I did get a blue spot on the white jacket...but it came out too! Good ol' oxyclean!

I am trying NOT to think about where I was this time last week....... ...well not exactly true.....I loved where I was and who I was with...but I wish we could do it all over again!

sck--Grapevine is right by Dallas/Ft. Worth airport. Light rain today...just enough to screw up the day. We need rain too, but considering my recent experiences with rain, I am not a fan. Don't know about the DC chick? She might be from here...
