Oh...and to clarify a few things to no one in particular:
1. When I said my son looked like a political candidate...I meant it in a most flattering way...he looks like a young Kennedy....
2. If any one took Kurt's remark as negative...I sure did not...I knew he was just kidding about someone that almost everyone on this board knows is his Nephew....

The whole gang just left about ten minutes ago and we tried posting photos but the website's too slow right now. It was so wonderful! You should have seen them all (well you will, a bit later). The boys were outstanding. Every single one of them matched their tuxes to their dates. As in Ashley wore hot pink and Michael wore a hot pink vest (yes!) to go with it. They were all so adorable and beautiful. It almost makes we want to cry. Or maybe it it's all the wine I've been drinking.
Man, what a day. The girls started arriving after lunch--can you believe it? I've never heard so much giggling and fussing and oohing and ahhing. Talk about excitement. And then when the boys started arriving...the volume went up and up. It was mayhem. Or at least our midwest version of it. ;-) But they were all so sweet and young and you look at them and know what the promise of youth is all about. As I said, I could nearly cry. Happy cry.

That she did as well as all the other girls. What outfits. One girl had on a retro '60s outfit that was amazing--like going back in time 40+ years. I should have asked her where she got it. And another friend of Philippa's wore a full length gown with sequins on in that was a knockout. It was so sophisticated. Philippa opted for short this year but you should have seen the heels. I don't know how she walks let alone dance! Kimmifunn would have been so proud. ;-)
