Beach Lover
We finally made our decision about vacation this year.. looks like we're not going to be able to make it. Long story short, we're looking in to adopting our first child in the next year or so, and it's VERY EXPENSIVE :yikes: .. so, no luxuries for us for quite a while.
So.. those of you who are lucky enough to live down there, or visit.. please post some pics, so I can at least feel like I'm there?

Well that sounds like a very good reason not to visit - congratulations are in order!!!!!!

Hubby and I won't be down until the end of August but I always take plenty of pics. You can always look at the beach cams. Tripsmarter has several different beach cams from PC Beach and Destin. And there is the one on Sowal.

Ooooo.. I forgot about the beachcam! I'll definitely have to visit that. :)

Best wishes to you Amy! Your family will have many years to enjoy the beach!

In the meantime, go to the SoWal.com homepage and there are enough of Kurt's fantastic pictures in the SoWal gallery to keep you busy for awhile. You will find lots of pictures of your favorite 30-A beaches!

Smiling Joe posted this GRAYT video called "My Kind of Spring Break" on Youtube. I visit it when I need sounds as well as pics.

Thanks! It's so great to finally have something to look forward to.
It's been a heck of a year.. started with losing my dad, ended (hopefully) with me having cancer surgery (hence the need to adopt!), so it really is good to have something wonderful to work toward, instead of just trying to get through the bad stuff.
Anyway, you know how people say to relax and "go to your happy place"?
That's Seagrove for me.
