Yes, I believe it should be an issue and I hope that Biden does not avoid it. Since he called Jacob Blake I was surprised he did not call the woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted by Blake. Can't we have a conscience that is not affected by politics?

I believe there is a list of about 27 women who are trying to sue donald trump for sexual assault. Why don't we have donald meet these 27 women first, and then Joe Biden can meet them after. You sure are overly concerned with one sexual assault, when we have a severe problem of unjustified murders by law enforcement and right wing extremists. Maybe you should re-evaluate your priorities. Anyway there is no contest of character between Trump and Biden. Like Poppaj said people are now becoming numb to his poor character. The point was whether or not "we" let politics affect our conscience. Yes institutional racism, cultural racism and economic racism exists. It is obvious that law enforcement has a big problem AND all of society does. How would you like to fix it since you keep asking me questions? Do you want to de-fund law enforcement? In my opinion I believe that Biden missed an opportunity to recognize not just the victim of a police shooting but also the victim of the sexual assault. It would have been a good opportunity to address the issue. If you don't agree then don't agree but stop calling people trolls to deflect from the issue.

Lvt, I consider myself as a middle wing normal (lotb would use the word average which is okay with me). I agree with you on the right wing extremists. I really do but something is telling you to somehow believe that I am the "troll" (enemy). So let me ask you a question. Have you ever once ever typed the following words or thought about them in your beautiful mind: left wing extremists, antifa, liberal elite? In my humble opinion you have let politics control your mind as beautiful and wonderful as it may be. You are not the only one and I have made that mistake as well. I call it a mistake because it is the behavior that really threatens our democracy right now. We even agree on the bad character of Donald Trump except you need to go a lot further and believe him to be an evil human which is okay with me but it is not my style. In my conversations with people about politics they usually start out on the extreme side but the more we talk the more we move to the middle. The middle is a place where we find friendship in our common ground. Not just you but many regular posters in this forum do not want to find common ground. You are hell bent to make enemies and really no different than the extremists on the other side of what I call the dark spirit of our two political parties. You simply will not think outside the box that the democratic party needs you to believe. The republican party does the same thing. I believe the republican party has gone off the rails with this need to brain wash with propaganda. I also see the beginning of that brain washing on the democratic party side. It is probably the nature of a two party system. I give President Obama a ton of credit for keeping us on the track because I am sure it was very hard for him. I believe Biden will keep us on the track as well but people like you and any others who call me a troll is what will eventually destroy our democracy if not held in check by a "good" leader. What is surprising to me is how the extremist on both sides do not care much about the electorate in the middle possibly even being on the fence. It is not smart in very close elections. Listen there is nothing you can say to keep me from voting for Biden. But for those people who are on the fence they would probably vote for Donald Trump just because you treat anyone who thinks outside your box as the enemy.

One more thing about the "troll" labeling. It is very obvious that there is a small group who want to be left alone in this forum. You simply don't like "foreign" intrusion. Most all hide their names and have so many excuses for it that it boggles the mind. In my humble opinion it is hypocrisy 101 as you say you do not want any border walls and want a mixing pot of foreigners. If you want a better government, better leaders and a better society I think you will have to start by not hiding your prejudices behind a computer. I challenge you all to use your real names AND allow for "ideas" outside your little box. It would be the "charitable" thing to do! I said mputnal was “beginning to sound like a troll” with his fixation on one particular sexual assault, that was far far afield from the core issues of these times and this presidential campaign. A typical troll tactic even though he might not actually have achieved trolldom.

Lvt, let me try again to make the point. If this doesn't work then one of us are not listening. I want Biden to win this thing and Make America Better. To be a better America there are many core issues. Lets start with Hillary losing an election that she should have won. Everyone has an opinion why she lost. Many believe that she lost because of how society objectifies women. Racism and oppression of African Americans is a core issue. We agree. Sexism, misogyny and oppression of women is a core issue. Do we agree? Our Hope for a Better America should not dismiss one over the other. Why? In my case I have two daughters and a granddaughter and I want the best for them of course. Now back to Jacob Blake and his criminal record. Do you believe that he should get a pass for his bad character. If so, I strongly disagree. Biden's phone call to Jacob Blake under the existing circumstances was appropriate. However, in my opinion it was inappropriate for Biden to not also make a phone call to the sexual assault victim. If you disagree I completely understand but I believe it was a missed opportunity to address two very important core issues. Even if I wanted to try and find a reason to vote for Trump over Biden it would not be possible. Again, the point is a Better America not whether or not to vote for Biden or Trump. Your use of the word troll or troll tactic or trolldom is inappropriate. I use my name. You know who I am. I am not hiding under a bridge. I am not hiding period. If you are going to hide behind a computer then you should not be calling anyone a troll!

How many symptoms do I get in your book of trolls because this may be another one? Not only are you inappropriate but you are very close minded to multiple social and political issues. Instead of discussing an issue you use the troll card as a deflector of the issue. It is starting to sound like you are an authoritarian who hides behind a computer instead of engaging in the real world. My thoughts are open and honest and sometimes wrong. I am imperfect but trying to be engaged in public discussion. You don't want public discussion unless on your terms. Sorry, but your terms are inappropriate and limited in scope!
