Melrose is BACK. I could have gone the rest of my life never seeing her again. She is here to help rename the girls, unfortunate since I really have just now got them all straight in my head. Renee is still being Renee but now she wears a head scarf/hooded thing to conceal her identity. Maybe it's to show solidarity with the struggles of women in the Middle East. The girls are off to a party with important people and their challenge is to mingle, fit in, be cool, act like a supermodel etc. Buckle up this should be good.

Bill Maher is there, Tia, Tamara, Nicole, Paris and OMG 50Cent, who immediately became the stalking victim of Jael. He actually had to be rude to get her to leave him alone and eventually had to push her into the pool when it became obvious she was in heat. Natasha got confused, thought it was a wet T shirt contest and jumped in too. Funn. Dionne was picked by Benny Medina (Tyra's manager) as winner of the party challenge and got to go shoot an ad for shoes. She took Whitney and Jaslene with her.

Note to self, never trust Nicole Ritchie with a "secret". She totally rated out Renee to Jael and back at the house it was ON. Jael told Renee off, who was suddenly worried and surprised that no one liked her. I know honey I don't get it either. But now we know why we can't understand Jael, she was sent from her planet to be the "protector" of skinny girls. Different planet, different language. Evidently the producers were afraid the villagers (models) were gathering torches and preparing to go through the woods to kill the monster Renee in her sleep because Trya comes to the house to mediate. Renee is misunderstood and she's sorry. They all sang "We are the World", even my spoon was crying. (I was eating ice cream- or devil food as the models call it) There was really no singing this isn't AI.

The models were to pick 4 sides of their personality (only 4 ??) and take a series of pictures to depict it. Must be harder than it sounds. Natasha and Jael did a nice job. Didn't care much for Whitney's. Jaslene struggled too. Jael wins, Sarah goes home.

Did anyone else notice the profile of Tyra and her superlong eyelashes. They got into the room a full minute ahead of her, jdargs giant spider lives!

I ended up feeling really sorry for Brittney this episode because it's getting more and more obvious they sewed a dead clown to her head.

I like Jael because she does have that rough and raw around the edges quality to her. She just needs to remember that a Hollywood party is a bit different than going clubbing in Ferndale.

Dead Clown!!! Too funny, she has issues with that thing for sure, thankfully Renee let her borrow her head cover thingie.

I like Jael, unless she's talking, but I don't think she'll be the NTM. She's going to have to really work to do the Cover Girl stuff. I pick on her speech in fun. I thought Jaslene would have a harder time at the party, she surprised me.

I just got to watch this past episode. Cheering you had me :rofl: with another funn review. Beachmouse: clown hair is the perfect description. I told Sam last night it looked like matted barbie hair. poor thing. I was a little sad to see Sarah go. I thought maybe Whitelle would go. Renee's name Naime...cracked me up when she went in with Mr Big and said my name is name. Now I only have one more day to wait for the next one. :clap_1:

Rest easy girls, the emergency hair team makes house calls. The hair stylist removed the dead thing that had attached itself to Brittney's head. She looks much better & isn't whining as much. We all win!

The challenge was acting and the models had to use their memorizing skills and act out a script. I found it painful to watch. By the time they were done, even my hair was hurting. Oddly enough no stylist here makes house calls. Renee won the challenge and then had an even bigger challenge of picking a friend to share the win. She picks a shocked Dionne, who had no idea she was Renee's friend. Well neither did Renee, but Dionne and her go back to the house with tshirts to look up the word friend in the dictionary.

I know Renee was thinking "I went to ANTM and all I got was this tshirt?" "What about the $40,000 bracelet from the other challenge?" But at the house Renee and Dionne get the prize, family visits. It was interesting to see Renee be so warm and loving to her little boy. The babies were so sweet and I felt sorry for Natasha who was really missing her baby. Heck I was missing my baby too, Memphis is far from Louisville. I was a brave model though and didn't cry. Natasha not so much. Sniff, I'm feeling a little verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves, I'll give you a topic, men who buy wives on the internet. Discuss.

The photo shoot was to be for shoes, really cute ones too. The girls had to impersonate models from previous seasons. They also shot the photo with that model. Cool, I think Tyra should do a reunion show. I was cracking up when homophobic Dionne had to get in touch with her inner lesbian for the photo with Kim (who I thought looked great, wait a minute does that make me a lesbian??) I didn 't see Dionne's shoes, but I think they should have been Birkenstocks, she sold the photo to me.

I also liked Brittney's pictures and Natasha improves every week. Jaslene seems to be going in the other direction. Renee was ok, but while I was watching it I thought the other model with her did better. Jael didn't look comfortable at the photo shoot. At the judging table, she made the mistake of actually speaking to the judges without her interpretor. From the look on their faces you'd have thought they never heard her before. When they returned Tyra finally called her on it. ('bout dang time, the Cover Girl commercial will be here before you know it) I still think Jael takes some great pictures, but please make her stop talking. She was in the bottom two, but Whitney was sent home.
