SC- you should try and finish, especially in this economic environment. Many companies will take a six sigma certified candidate first before another who isn't. You never know. I guess, depending on the instructor, it could be silly. I have heard the instructor can make all the difference.

Sunspotbaby- originally, SS was developed for Motorola, and other manufacturing business to improve processes and make flow easier and how to exceed customer expectations. Now it has extended to other businesses, like medical, service industries, etc. via lean six sigma.

The Six Sigma program here at UA is in my area of marketing responsibility. Good program.

Sounds too much like a program made for The Man, and by The Man. I'd rather not wear a belt, but I have to in order to keep my pants around my waist.
