Audie, Mermy...

New posts
Thanks OL for the pictures. You are so good about posting pictures and sharing your life with us. You're a sweetie. :clap_1:

we are having a wintry mix going on out there now, sounds like bb's hitting the windows. i scraped half the driveway (my side) before the snow blower quit on me. that thing is mucho heavy, glad mr audie handles it most of the time... ol, glad the mr made it to work. what time does he get home? mr audie has to work until 9 tonight.

cool pics by the way ... i am off to take a brief nap..

Mr OL usually is home by 10 but he said they will probably make him work over since most people didn't even come in! They should be letting people go home early but they don't care. They would rather them just spend the night. I'll be prying for him the whole way...it's usually a 1/2 hour drive and I bet it'll take at least an hour but the good thing is there won't be much traffic!

Thanks, I like doing it.

I enjoy your pictures so much too, OL! I've been wanting to get out to take some but the snow is still blowing drifts up to the front door and back door and I can't even get them open!

Jeesh! I just mentioned on the storm thread that we don't have the strong winds yet. Looks like it might be another snow day tomorrow too!

Still icing here. No school tomorrow. Mr OL does have to work over due to no one else showing up.:pissed: He won't get home til probably midnight. :bang: But all will be fine as soon as my valentine walks in the door.

Oh my goodness! I loved every one of those adorable pet pictures! Each 116 brought a smile to my face and heart!

There was one little dog sitting at the bottom of the deck stairs looking up. We have a picture of John doing just that! SO sweet ~

I loved them all too. I'll have to put Stacy's purple parka on her tomorrow and take a pic. They've inspired me! She was almost buried when I let her out tonight.

audie weather update :

i slept all of maybe 3 hrs yesterday worrying about mr audie driving in this crap - he has a 20 mile drive to work..he opened the pharmacy at 9 as per usual, but closed it at 6pm instead of 9. his 20 min. drive took a little over an hour, but thank god he got home..we started out with snow got maybe 4 inches or so, then about noon it all turned to sleet. for a brief period between about 2:30 and 3:00 pm we had freezing rain, and i thought we were done for, but luckily it turned back to sleet. it started snowing again around 10 pm and we got another couple of inches overnight. the big problem now is the blowing snow, lots if drifts once you get out of the city. we are under a level 3 snow emergency here which means only emergency personnel are authorized to be on the road ---- not that anyone adheres to this. mr audie got up at 5 am and cleaned the driveway off and drove down to the hospital to see how deep the snow was in our subdivision. if it was too deep i was gonna leave my crv at work and just ride home with him, but i was able to get home with no probs. it was pretty deep but not impassable.

happy valentiney's day to my sowal pals !

Please stay safe and drive careful. One of the reasons we made the move down to Santa Rosa was because of the driving on ice and snow. As a Realtor, I was driving families around in the worst weather possible. You know, the people who were just there to look at houses for the weekend and flying back to wherever they were from. The highways were very flat and would ice over very quickly. I am praying for all your families.
OL, your pictures are great. Thanks for sharing.
I saved a picture of one of the dogs for my screensaver!
Thanks!
