We just returned from a trip to Chattanooga, Asheville and Atlanta. We had a great time, especially in Chattanooga. We stayed downtown in the middle of everything. We could walk to the aquarium, IMAX, Childrens Discovery Museum, and the riverwalk area and of course all the great restaurants. Thanks to RiverOtter we knew which restaurants and attactions to go to. The kids loved everywhere we went and we jammed in a lot of tourist attractions including Rock City and Ruby Falls. If you ever need a long weekend getaway, put Chattanooga on your list. Lots to do and a clean little city.

Glad you had a good time. Where did you dine? What did you think about the Riverwalk, Walnut St Bridge, and Coolidge Park?

And of course............

Glad you're back. Sounds like you had a great time! Saw your dog out for a walk on New Year's Day. Happy New Year!

Hi RiverOtter - We dined at the Big RIver Grill, Easy Seafood, Rembrants and Mellow Mushroom (we were hungry, it was late, and we couldn't wait for seats elsewhere!). On day 1 we went to the aquarium, IMAX, along the river quickly, Ruby Falls, lights at Rock City. This is a record number of tourist attractions for us. We were trying to squeeze everything in during the 1.5 days we had there. On day 2 we went to Rembrants and that area, and Rock City and started on to Asheville. There's so much more to see and do. We didn't really have time to do the riverwalk and it was COLD! We'll have to catch it when it's a bit warmer. Thanks for your help!

Happy New Year to you too! Yes, when we go on vacation, our dog goes on vacation to our friends who love to dog sit for us. She is totally spoiled there and goes on more walks in a day than she does in a month with us! She is still depressed that we're home! It usually takes 5 days for her to get out of her post vacation slump.
