I am copying this from the other BCC election thread. and will say that:
1. I would not vote for "no response".
2. I would not vote for anyone who takes money from shell corporations in South Florida (or anywhere else).
3. the two candidates below did not respond and are backed by shell corporations and the same pro-development locals as Tony "The Puppet" Anderson.
Adding two more puppets will make 4 of 5 commissioners squarely in the developer's pocket. And the 5th won't matter.
We are sadly getting ground up by the machine that cares only about profiting by destroying our natural resources.
The responses by all but one or two of the candidates are laughably generic or nonsensical.
From other thread:
I find it shady (scary) that the candidates for Walton BCC with significant donations get their money from various developers and a lot of LLCs all registered with the same lawyer in Fort Lauderdale (Davie). LLCs that deal in real estate and development. If voters knew this would they still vote for them?
The exception is the lone Democrat whose donations come mostly from local individuals.
I really hope that folks will not just vote the party line in district 5. We need to vote for the best candidate, regardless of their party affiliation.
SWCC invited all 2020 BCC candidates to participate in a survey that consisted of 9 policy questions and 4 personal questions. The responses to Question 2 appear below.
Mr. Cryar, the technical school you speak of is located in Defuniak and is called the Emerald Coast Technical College. I'm all for technical schools and that one needs to be expanded.
