Since Yianni's has closed, it has left a huge void in Mr Seagrover's and my life. Plus, we like to eat early - Mr Seagrover is ususally in bed by 8:00............anyhoo, where in the area can we get the Winter Special, Snowbird Meal, the Blue-Hair Special as we call it because it is for us old folks.

We know about the early bird at Angelina's, did the meal at Gravel Road - and it was awesome - just wondering where else we can go?
 
So, we did the same old thing - Angelina's but you just can't go wrong with the chicken piccata - yum!!!

Will have to look into Fire - sounds good!!!
 
Saturday night pasta and salad bar at the Santa Rosa Beach club for $7. I think you get til 6:30 to be seated, maybe 6:00. Old Florida has an early bird, but I've had so many uneven experiences there, it's hard to recommend. Flip Flops usually has a lunch special.
 
If you can set your alarm, I've found the best time to dumpster dive is 1-3 a.m.
 
Cafe30A used to have an excellent 4 course special early in the evening, but I don't know if they still do. Their apple bread pudding is fantastic if they still have it.
 
We used to do the 30-A Winter menu - Mr Seagrover loved the catfish and I loved the meatloaf. We didn't go any last year - they didn't have the meatload - and I haven't seen the menu for this winter - will check it out.

If you're looking for meatloaf, try Sally's Backside in Blue Mountain on Tuesday nights @ 6:00!
