What if a man loves himself? Then "a man is only as good as himself"??? Bellow's quote could be construed to mean "if a man doesn't love himself, then he's no good"??? Or maybe a man needs to bring out his true goodness through self-acceptance and love. This is presenting a mind bending pair o' docs with which to ruminate, at least for me.:scratch:
