Just saw it. I wanted to hear Sanjaya. Donny is a has-been, IMO. Sanjaya was starting to grow on me.

I thought Jay was very nice to Sanjaya. I loved Donny and Sanjaya singing together - I wish they would have done more. Jack Black liked Sanjaya too. I can't wait to tell my kids in the morning. My teen idol, their idol and one of their favorite actors, all together!
My son had a 7pm game yesterday. He didn't get a hit, lost the game, and was worried he was going to miss the results. He had been a Sundance fan and after he got voted off, switched to Sanjaya. When the results were announced, he yelled "Can we sue Simon?" Then he said "This is the worst day of my life" and started crying. So we just cried together.
The awful thing that happened when they cut to the commercials, after they broke the group in to 2 that we didn't get to see, was Sanjaya realized he was going home when he saw it was Lakisha and him. He broke down on stage in front of everbody. Melinda came over and bear hugged him, the Chris gave him the biggest hug of all, then Lakiska starts crying. They were like that for a while, everyone hugging each other. They had to seperate Lakisha and Sanjaya so that he could watch the video.There's more. If I can figure out how to post, I will. It was written by a reporter from Entertainment Weekly.
