Enough to Make a Father Have a Heart Attack

Late one night when my son was @ 16, I passed his room and heard moaning. I said "What the hell's going on in there"?? He said "Oh Mom I'm watching MTV and theres a condom commercial on". LOL.

as far as sinus, a good dunk in the ocean usually works for me.

This is so true. As kids we were taught to open our eyes underwater for the salt water's healing powers!

Oh, good grief. They sell pots for that? I just snort water up my nose out of my hands. Maybe I'm a redneck...

I'm glad I wasn't drinking or using a Neti pot when I read your comment. I would have drowned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:floor::floor::floor:

I use the McNeil sinus rinse kit. Couldn't live without it. After having so many sinus infections and antibiotics that never seem to work or take weeks to work, the sinus flush does work. I've been on less medicine because of it and the same for my daughter. The first time you use it, you do kind of experience a drowning sensation for a second before the water comes out the other side. The temp of the water and saline has to be just right. Luckily it comes in pre-measured packets.

I'm not sure how the neti works...you tilt your head back? You have to tilt forward to use the sinus rinse.

OL, Philippa has had the most dreadful head cold this week and she says that thing works. You tilt your head either to the left or right and the saline goes up one nostril and then drips down the other. Pippi says it's gravity. She's feeling much better because of using it.

Glad she's feeling better. I think they make a huge difference.
