Generator jinx

Uh, I don't want to screw things up, but I told my wife that if I bought a generator, no storms would hit Florida for the rest of the year. So far, so good. Should I apply this logic to other major purchases? Any ideas???

This is too funny! I have a friend that lived on the lake Near Chattanooga. Power went out everytime a breeze blew. So, being the King Of Overkill... he bought a 25 for 30KW diesel generator. Long story short he single handedly cured Harrison, TN's power outages :laughing1
