Wanna figure out who your tin foil hat conspiracy theorist neighbors are?

• Take any unused wireless access points or wireless routers that you may have.
• Power them up but don't connect them to the internet.
• Change the SSID names to something like "NSA Monitoring Van #3" or "FBI SWAT TAC Team 1"
• Sit back and wait

I do it with my cell phone and set it to be a wifi hotspot. Clears out a bar sometimes.
