Grayt Days Ahead!

Hi, SoWallers...Well, just a few days before I can nip down to my favorite beach for a week of R&R. Don't let the rain come down on me, you hear? And what in the world is going on from April 21 through 29? I don't want to miss anything, you know!

Woo hoo. I'll be there when you're in SoWal (late April 26 - early May 1). It has been a loooong time since we saw each other in person.

On my wish list of things to do are the after beach thing at Fonville Press around 6:30 on Friday night and getting the cheese platter at Wild Olives (Sweet Olives?) at Rosemary Beach which I heard is amazing.

There's the Soiree on the 28th, the Grayton Block party, I and many sowalers will be in town.

Mango, I'd love to see you when in SoWal. I hope lots of SoWallershgo to the Fonville After Beach thing on Friday night. I think it starts around 6:30. Let's hope Chickpea will be there, too -- and our many other friends.

Are you kidding me...there's something this good and I don't know about it...Fonville? Fess up, right now. That is soooo wrong! Well, I am up for anything and everything because my dance card is empty but for the Grayton Homeowners' BBQ and street dance on Lydia Street on Apr. 28. I plan to attend the SoWaller Soiree on that same evening.

I want to go to Old Florida Fish House and The Larder, also back to my favorite spot, D&K Renewed. Do we have anything else funn going on? And does anyone know when the Chatauqua Festival in DeFuniak is to be held? Usually is the third or fourth weekend in April, but no word from even my family on this "do" to date. Of course, it has cranked down to something less interesting than in days of yore. Has to be of great import to get me to drive in from the beaches.

Paula and Mango, I'm thrilled to know that you will be there next week. Let's stay in touch and try to plan our own evening out here or there. I still have wine at Conch Out and am happy to host a pre-dinner wine bar.
