Well, speaking of gore, do you watch that TV show NIP/TUCK? I've been curious about it but skeered to turn it on. I think I might be too squeamish.

Mermy...the surgery is the least scary thing about that show. It's amazing. My fav. You have to start watching it.

no, i've never seen it - several people at work are hooked on it. i don't watch any weekly series like that because i never get to see it 2 weeks in a row and i never watch what i tape, so i don't even attempt it.

I've watched it and it is a good show, but there have been scenes that make me squeamish. Last week I fell alseep and woke up and some show was on called" I want to look like movie star" and they were doing breast implant surgery and SHOWED it. I nearly passed out. I can watch some surgeries like c-sections, even heart surgery, but seeing the girls get cut, well, that was too much for me. Same for liposuction surgeries on TV.
