Hello from Venezia

I didn't like Venice as a 20-something, but *adored* it when I returned -- it helps to just get lost--and away from the beaten path, which is easy to do.

I loved Venice! Was there 3 years ago and ended up going back through on my way back to Croatia. Didn't like all the pigeons, though. :shock:

Ali, Cork- Place a knife and fork in each hand, and a napkin tucked into your shirt. Thence proceed to the Pizza San Marco where you will chase after pigeons as if to eat them; terrifying the always skitsh Japanese tourists.

I was so afraid those pigeons were going to poop on my head... San Marco was beautiful!!!!
