Leaving fot the much needed vaca in a few days and was wondering what the water was looking like and the temps.....tahnks alot

The Grayton outflow was gorgeous yesterday. Crystal clear all the way up to the lake.

Temps are just right and the water has been clear lately.

The water water sooo clear yesterday. Absolutely perfect. Water temp low to mid 70's. This is a awesome time of year. Like Kurt said stay tuned to www.swfd.org for beach flag conditions. The water here can be deciving so always be extra careful. Watch the swimmers in the water for a few minutes before entering to see if they are drifting and are any rips. Check and see if there is a drop off in depth right off the beach ( a gully), that can be dangerous for the youngins'. Have fun here!!

Thaks so much guys. Yall are awesome. The last few years we have come at this time the june grass has been present. I know that I will have a grayt time anyway, it's just nice to know. Looking forward to surf fishing as well.
