I had the "F" Bomb dropped on me

New posts
Embarrassingly, I am saying it far too frequently now. And who am I picking it up from?

MY TEENAGER!!!
I have grounded him, washed his mouth out with soap, fed him castor oil, slapped him, taken the keys away...but the bombs keep dropping. And when I do get him to stop, nice sweet very religious Fuzz will come home after a bad day and toss the word around a few times. So I gave up. I just smile and tell them both that one of these days, it's going to slip out in church. ;-)

But interestingly, when I say it, my guys tell me to "be a lady." I told them to F off.

Once upon a time when I was a waitress in a really nice restaurant (Bud and Alley's) hi dave , my favorite phrase for difficult diner(s)was....and it is said very, very fast,...."F__k you very much." They thought I said thank you and was in a hurry. Got to survive somehow.

Perfect SGG! :lolabove:

yes, it's sad but true how the teens use it so casually. My son told me several years ago that it is used constantly. I see on his facebook how casually it's used. Even by girls who I would never have thought would use it.

Though I am almost always a perfect lady :lie:I have been known to string a succession of them together in various forms of nouns, verbs and adjectives in order to form a perfect, meaningful sentence as the need arises. A hammer or coffee table are the usual antagonizers.

I want to be like Susie when I grow up!
DO NOT watch this when children are present.

ya'll are speaking my language.:floor: Johnrudy - that is just pucking hilarious.

and I can totally relate. even my holy roller mom (age 68) has learned the value of the eff word. her younger sister (age 61) plus some of her naughty friends have been teaching her well over the last several years. I'm told my extremely italian catholic grandmother loved the word dearly. and I believe it because I remember she constantly used every other curse word in the book - and she did not care who was there (priest, kids.. no matter).

Bob - you are sick.

Lynnie - are you serious? no one has ever dropped the f bomb on you before?

where are the other sowal wenches - I want to hear their take on all this.

Right - this is a first....in a conservative environment. I would never in a work environment (even running my own co.) use it in this fashion and evidently she isn't getting very far with it her ownself. My friends and I use is regularly, specially, my AbFab chics......but, it's just not funny when it's directed to be ugly......IMHO. I have a GF (owns her co) and drops the F Bomb - loses employees, then wants to sue them.....it's a pattern.

well, since i've become addicted to Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO, the f-word is flying every 20 - 30 seconds, in casual conversation. I told my husband,"why can't we go ahead and talk like this, all the time??" So I started letting it fly. I work at a church too. I say it softly & don't yell it like i do at home or everywhere else. Anyway, it's my favorite word now.

Larry David is f***ing annoying, he makes you use it ever 20-30 seconds.......

Why, I am shocked, shocked I say, that you all find it so easy for this word to roll off your tongues!:shock::eek::yikes:

:lie:

P.S. I seem to have no problem dropping the occasional "f" bomb.

I knew you were f***ing holier than thou............that's why I digg you!

Holy F*** what a thread!

Said it in church once when Miss Kitty rang and I guess I forgot to silence the danged phone. That was a bright Sunday morning. Maybe she needed some prayers that day. :idontno: I don't like being awake right now, but I went to bed at 8.

I've gotten intel that a restaurant on 30A will most likely be carpet bombed with F*** at lunch this week. :ninja:

:lolabove:...love this pucking thread! I have even started using the word, puck, since I tend to use it so much around here. People must think I love hockey!

johnrudy...that is hysterical and so true! One of the perks of the empty nest is cussing whenever the mood strikes. I laughed with my friends that I had all these pent up pucks that I never could use and now it's like a dam broke!

shallowsnole...my son cannot stand for me to cuss, either, but because his father taught him so many choice words from being on the phone with other lawyers, my son had quite the education.

Pucking carry on!

If I had an alter-ego, Les Grossman would be it. Warning: prolific and creative use of f-bomb.

:lolabove::floor::funn: omc - that is my favorite role Tom Cruise has ever played. ever. he is so great. I love the very end when he's dancing. I like to watch this movie repeatedly only because of Tom! I have a new found love and respect for the man.
