Well, I dunno much about the parents' view on the kids but my mom did drop the greatest line yesterday while I was on the phone with her. We were talking about this intercom system she had in the house which she and my dad used to annoy the crap out of me.

Me : I hated that thing.
Mom : I know, that's why we did it? After all the hell you put us through, we wanted to get you back.

So like my nana says, "Payback's a *****!"
