OMG gullfriends - yes I stayed out past my curfew - I had a REALLY nice time.

My kids are still awake and I need to get them into bed, then I will be back with a full report (and I told him about the website and my Sowal friends and he promised not to look for my post - LOL!)

Ok, time for all the lurid details like I promised (well they're not really lurid, but I'll give you details!) It was a very good date. Seems like we have a lot in common, from growing up in blended families and being the youngest sibling to being admitted news junkies - lol. We met for dinner at 7 (well I was a few minutes "fashionably late" but I did call him to let him know that traffic was bad.) He told me I looked "exceptionally beautiful" which has got to be just about the nicest compliment a man has ever paid me. It didn't take long for me to feel at ease. The conversation was non-stop and there was a lot of eye-contact. Before I knew it, it was already 11 and past my curfew (good thing the sitter was my MIL and I knew I could be a few minutes late!) We held hands a little while we talked after dinner and shared a simple kiss goodnight (I'm getting over a cold and didn't want to get him sick!) We are definitely going out again after Christmas. Sorry again for being late and keeping you all in suspense!
