It's snowing!

I noticed Lady's last sentence too. The meteorologist last night said to "expect 2 inches but it won't last too long"...Mrs. TripleB said "So, what else is new?".

:lolabove: Poor Mrs. B. :floor: :floor:

That reminds me of the weatherman on a local newscast who was being chastised by the newswoman about his snow prediction. She asked him on air what happend to the 8 inches he promised her last night. I have to see if that's on YouTube...

Your last sentence made me chuckle, but then I'm twisted. My son will be thrilled and I'd love to see what his new puppy thinks of the snow on the ground.

Yeah, Cheering472, I thought the same thing as several, I guess I'm twisted also, but I'm referring to the snow this time, which started falling here again just as we all left work at 4:00. Sleet is falling in with it.

Snowing in Big D!!! Temp at 33, so it isn't sticking. :clap_1: I love snow!

I woke up to snow this morning ( I had a hangover thanks to Tootsie:roll: ) however, the snow was beautiful!!!!
Not enough to keep me from work...but there was a 3 hour delay for all the schools (Including USC)
I love snow, too...for a day, and then I am over it!

We have a pretty 1 to 2 inch snow on the ground from what came in last night. Looks like our road is clear from what I can see but can't be for sure. It is 27 degrees. I think it will be gone today, supposed to be in the mid to upper 30's I think so it is short lived. Wonder if River Otter and the Nooga got any out of this system.

Middle TN has a nice white blanket this morning:clap_1: More than yesterday but not overwhelming. It is so pretty outside.

Whitey ...safe travels. Nashville looks a mess. Maybe the news is making it worse than it is.

We have a little, not enough to make travel bad thank goodness. Be careful and remember the best way to enjoy snow is through the window while sipping a cup of something warm.

SO true! It is a luxury to not have to get out in the snow to go to work.

I used to love the snow when the kids were little. After breakfast we'd curl up in my bed with stacks of books and snuggle and read. Once it warmed up a little they wanted to play in the snow until they were soaked. I'd always run a hot bath for them to warm up in and then cocoa by the fireplace topped it off. I didn't work when they were little and those days were the best. Now I worry about them getting to school and work on slippery roads, give me the days when I knew they were warm and safe.
