well, burt may or may not have been in playgirl with a full frontal of this picture - one place says yes, another says no. i did find where the very first playgirl centerfold was lyle waggoner, then starring in wonder woman....

For some reason, I thought they made this in a poster size, too - maybe not, but I had this in my dorm room that summer in Auburn - over the mirror. I remember my roommate coming in and rolling over laughing!!!

I was 8 but I remember they had that Cosmo magazine at my Mom's hairdresser (she went every day!!!) and what a HUGE deal it was. NO! I was not allowed to look at it...they passed it around like candy! It was very shocking for it's time!

If this was in 1972, I was only 8 also. Must be why I never thought he was that great...always kinda reminded me of my dad. My Mom always loved him though.

the article said it was from a 1972 cosmo - i thought it was from playgirl too - not that i have ever read playgirl...

My best friend and I saw this picture when we were 12 years old in her mother's Cosmo magazine. We both drooled over this picture. He was hot! Didn't think I'd ever see that picture again.
