I think it would be a huge mistake for him to come to UK. He was an assistant at UK, he knows the pressure Pitino had to withstand. Why on earth would he do such a thing? Beach Runners passion for her team pales in comparison to some Kentucky fans I know. I would think life is better outside that pressure cooker.

Hey what do I know maybe he wants to live down the road from Pitino or he just loves horses. But I think he and his family would be better off and much happier in Florida.

I never understood how big basketball is at Kentucky, for example, how the attendance this year was so much higher than at the O Dome, until I read this article regarding go/no-go:

BTW Beach Jacket and a friend watched the game at The Vortex in Atlanta. While there, they played the bar's trivia game. They had to choose a team name, and she chose "We wanna have Joakim's babies." God, I've even converted my daughter into a Gator fan.

It is difficult to comprehend the Cawood Ledford crowd, but trust me, I was married to a UK fan. They'd chew their arm off to win a game. The expectations are enormous every year. If Billy was here and had just won, the call in radio shows would be wondering why he wasn't out recruiting for next year. Somone from Pikeville may well have been sitting on his KY blue toilet when he placed the call. Some of these people put the FAN in Fanatic.

I actually prefer my balls in an oval shape with pointed ends, so this escapes me anyway. But it's sometimes funn to watch Cats chase their "tales".

Rupp sell-out (24,000 seats) for a Tuesday night game is the norm. It's all strange to me.

But really, he has lived in KY and FL, which do you think he prefers? Would be an easy choice for me.

Me, too. Florida because of the weather and not being land-locked. You know Foley will give him the money. I'm sure that Foley is being inundated with email from The Gator Nation. I, for one, emailed him and also sent him a copy of my Joakim Easter 'tar. And I still think Billy would always be Rupp Junior in KY (just as Bear Bryant's shoes have never been filled), whereas at Florida he'd be Basketball God #1. In either scenario, he'll still have to continue to produce in order to achieve eternal athletic sainthood.

School for school the money would be matched, but the extra endorsement contracts are what made Pitino and Tubby rich. But I agree he should stay in Florida. I think UK fans would love him and he would make them want to rename Rupp arena, as long as he wins. But God help him when he loses.
