:floor: ...Bi-Polar Kitty!!!

dka...I think you could find inspiration in a vacuum for a drinky.

Yeah. And...?

In fact, Miss Kitty, I care about you so much, that if your pain and troubles won't go away, by golly I'll just keep drinking till they do!

Now THAT'S what friends are for!

well talk about a needing some springtime......I was on my way home on a winding road and my tire blew out, lost control of the car, but managed to regain it and pull into someones driveway, well lawn. I wasn't really dressed in my warmest clothes either and I think my toes are gonna fall off from frostbite.

Good driving skills there Mango. I'm glad you are ok. You didn't have on flip-flops did you?

it is soooo kind of you to make sacrifices for you friends !!!!

 ...Frozen Mango!!!! That must have been scary! Glad you are okay.

So, Mr. K and I went out and had a nice dinner. I talked him into going to the grocery so I could pick up these delicious caramels that I had been craving. Driving home, I pass one to Mr. K and pop one in my mouth. YUMMY! All of a sudden, I thought..."why is this crunchy?" Yep, I cracked off 1/3 of a molar!!!! Just talked to my dentist...he said if I wasn't in pain now, I'd probably be okay until Monday. I'll definitely need a straw tomorrow along with my liquid painkiller.

 OUCH, is there a full moon tonight? :idontno: My tire pops and your tooth. I'm sure everything good for the Texgent can be taken in with a straw.

Mango!! Honey, are you really ok?! Good grief!!
Yes, I am fine. I got meet a really nice elderly couple whose lawn I drove on and we entertained each other. They had just come home from dinner and the husband stayed outside with me. He asked if I could come by next Friday to entertain him. He said TV was boring him. :funn:

Glad to hear you are OK! I keep a heavy coat, hat, gloves and scarf on the backseat of my car, and I live here in Florida full time!
You never know.
The parachute is under the driver's seat.

Frozen Mango got me thinking though....I don't have any mango but....

I've got some peach schnapps! I think I'll take a shot of Peach Schnapps and two shots of Southern Comfort in a martini shaker, shake it up good and cold, pour it in a martini glass:drink2: and enjoy it with this last piece of apple pie in the fridge.

Now if that don't cure the wintertime blahs, I don't know what will!

Thank you Mango for inspiring me tonight.

dka:drink:
DKA- the worst possible hangover I ever had was from peach snappes, so if you wake up with a throbbing headache tomorrow, I hope I do not come to mind.

You mean was I making believe I was in my happy place in Figi? ;-)
No. I had on my socks that have a frog with a martini glass (very cute)but not terribly warm.

Miss Kitty - I feel your pain. Had an emergency appt at the dentist this AM for a busted filling. Now I have a temporary and he took impressions for some porcelain thingy and as long as I was there, I told him I broke my mouth guard and needed a new one - he told me to use Efferdent to clean the new one instead of the boiling water I used to sterilize and ruin the old one - LOL. And bless his soul he knocked $500 off my bill since he never really instructed me on the proper methods of cleaning a mouth guard. So the visit only cost $835 after the discount. Now where is that jaw dropping smiley I posted last night????

Mango, I hope you are okay, staying in tonight and keeping toasty warm.

And Kitty, back to your original topic, I hate winter. My SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) gets worse every year. I am SOOOOO ready for spring and warm, sunny weather.

 Soooo tiiiirrreeeeddd

I decided to start some fires in the real estate forum. I am toasty now.

And you are still awake like me. I try and stay clear of the real estate forum. Too much controversy over there.
