Now starts the Fall speeding ticket campaign. Why?

Can anyone shed some light, or offer a theory, on why it seems that Deputies and/or FHP start their campaign of ticketing the locals in the Fall?

Holiday weekends have always been high enforcement periods. Locals feel targeted in the fall as they are the only ones here.

Tourists do as they please until enough complaints are received.

There was a binder full of complaints against beach vendors at today's meeting. Probably why the mandatory meeting was called...

We don't mess w tourists. Come one, come all, no occupancy issues, park however you want, bring glass to the beach, no worries mate.
