Beach Fanatic
We got the Frog family Outback stuck at Grayton this afternoon. It normally does just fine, we've had it out there 8 or 10 times since getting the beach permit last Dec. But the sand is really chewed up and deep right now.

Here's the fun part.

Just when we were about to give up and call friends to come drag us out, 4 young Morman boys walk up and give us a push - all we needed to get loose.

Who'd expect to find 4 Mormans in need of a good deed to do, on the beach in Grayton on a spring Saturday?

We have a lot of Mormon friends (hubby does a lot of business in Utah). They're not as "different" as Baptists, IMHO. :floor: Just kidding! I can get by with saying this since I was born and raised as a Baptist, and my Daddy would roll over in his grave if he knew I'm a Methodist now.;-)

I imagine the beaches aren't as good in Utah. :)

Glad you got unstuck.

Yeah, glad you got unstuck...how'd you know they were mormans?

 Oh Treefrog- I ALWAYS worry about this! In fact, I am known for worrying about this. The kids are not allowed to speak as I am driving out or coming back in- takes total concentration.

Four cleancut sober white guys, about 20 years old, black pants and shoes, short sleeve white dress shirts, and a tie on a Saturday afternoon at the beach. Relatively uncommon clothing for spring breakers from Auburn.

If it looks like a duck...

Maybe if we get some rain it will pack the sand a little. For now, it's chewed up.
