From the B'ham News. Probst makes himself look like an ass yet again. Everyone's fired up. Maybe it'll bring us back to the old Vestavia/Berry rival days. :clap_1:

Hoover High football coach Rush Propst's statement on MTV that Vestavia Hills was a "dirty team" may have turned some heads in Vestavia, but it doesn't bother Rebels coach Buddy Anderson.
"It's kind of amusing that he feels that way," Anderson said Wednesday following Propst's comment in Tuesday night's season premiere of the MTV reality show "Two-A-Days."
Propst made the remark to his team in a post-practice speech before the Bucs' game against the Rebels last season. The comment was part of MTV's teaser for next week's episode.
"There is nothing worse than losing to Vestavia," Propst told his team. "They are a dirty football team. They are very dirty."
Anderson said he didn't watch the show, but received a phone call from his upset daughter who saw the show. He said the comment isn't upsetting because it isn't true.
"We don't teach them anything dirty or to hurt opponents," Anderson said. "I can put my head on my pillow at night and have no regrets."
Several people asked Anderson about the comment on Wednesday. He also said he would not ask Propst to retract his statement, instead leaving it "up to him."
Propst, reached on Wednesday in Miami where he was promoting the second season of the MTV reality series, said his comments were "just an attempt to try and fire our football team up. It's a big rivalry. I wanted my team to know they would be in for a real war. I never intended to offend anyone. If I did, well, I regret it."
Anderson said he does not plan to watch next Tuesday's episode that will air at 9 p.m. on MTV.
